It really just started as a knee-jerk reaction to @Dhempe’s tweet about Bangalore hosting (yet another!) rooftop film festival, this one screening Cannes shorts.
And so started the preparations. We got a team in place, guys really passionate about movies. We tied up with Shamiana, a short film society started by the dynamic Cyrus Dastur and Palador, a huge production house. After much discussions and sweat lost and a larger than life email thread, its finally here. It’s finally happening.
So folks, who are in Hyderabad on the 23rd of August, there’s something lined up for you guys and its pretty exciting.
The CUT IT SHORT film festival.
The event will consist of:
Several short films shortlisted for the Cannes Film Festival
Short films from the local talent to promote their work
Possible panel discussion/interaction/speakers
Venue: Prasad’s Preview Theater
Time: 10 am to 2 PM
